Similarities to the Akashic records

The Akashic records is somewhat of a legendary relic first described by Hindu sages thousands of years ago. The records themselves has many similarities to the Elder Scrolls. The Records were believed every event from a "caveman's sneeze" to "a leaf falling in the forest" from the beginning until the end of time. Some people believe that it is possible to glimpse at the record by astro-projecting. The Records are supposed to tell the past, present, and probable futures, similar to the Elder Scrolls173.69.138.111 22:16, January 25, 2012 (UTC)

Prediction of Dragon Breaks

The last sentence under influence says: "It is known that the events which alter the linearity of time, known as Dragon Breaks, cannot be recorded or predicted by these scrolls."

The Prophecy of the Dragonborn, however, predicts one such Dragon Break:

  1. "When misrule takes its place at the eight corners of the world
  1. When the Brass Tower walks and Time is reshaped
  1. When the thrice-blessed fail and the Red Tower trembles
  1. When the Dragonborn Ruler loses his throne, and the White Tower falls
  1. When the Snow Tower lies sundered, kingless, bleeding
  1. The World-Eater wakes, and the Wheel turns upon the Last Dragonborn"

The second verse clearly mentions the warp in the west, wich is a Dragon Break triggered when Numidium was used for the second time.

In his first dialoge with the Dovakiin, Parthurnaax says that this prophecy was created from the Elder Scrolls, which creates a conflict, can Dragon Breaks be foretold by the Elder Scrolls or not?

Elder Scrolls (Dragon), (Sun), (Blood)

With Dawnguard there is an addition of 2 new Elder Scrolls (Sun and Blood) and the one already existing is now called (Dragon). You may have seen that at the end of the Main Quests you can sell the Elder Scroll (Dragon) to the librarian at the College of Winterhold. But, the 2 new Elder Scrolls seem to stay marked as a quest item and you can't sell them to the librarian. This maybe just a bug (that maybe easily fix on the pc version but for xbox...) or there is another utility to them or a special npc to give to. Anyways, if someone find how to sell them or just put it aways on the xbox360 version let me know it. Thanks Philgo95 (talk) 16:06, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
