Mankar Camoran is an Altmer, not a Bosmer. His mother was a Bosmer, but he is most definitely an Altmer.-=KAG=--The Gray Fox 15:12, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

His father Haymon Camoran was also a Bosmer. - –K.A.JTCE 18:08, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

  • The this must be counted as an error on the developers' part, because Camoran IS an Altmer in the construction set of the game. Yaquez 16:07, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm actually not really certain where I got this, but during Oblivion (the only TES game I've played) I got the impression (probably erroneously) that Mankar Camoran and Jagar Tharn were one and the same, yet after seeing the wiki, this does not seem to be the case. I kind of already know the answer, but could someone please set me straight on this? The Man In The Black Cape 20:54, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Mankar Camoran is a cult leader, while Jagar Tharn is a dark-arts sorcerer. Jagar died in The Elder Scrolls: Arena. They're two separate persons. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 03:37, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
New topic here:
I remember Mankar's speech about Nirn being rather confusing, he kept saying that Nirn was Mehrunes Dagon's original plane of Oblivion, but then contradicted himself saying that Nirn was created by Lorkhan, the latter pretty much being stated as truthful in every other bit of lore regarding Nirn's creation, so was Mankar just lying, or was he crazy? Or did he just fall for Dagon's bs? Would like to know please. 98.28.88.47 12:10, February 12, 2013 (UTC)JAS

"The Dragon Throne is empty, and we hold the Amulet of Kings! Praise be to your Brothers and Sisters! Great shall be their reward in Paradise! Hear now the words of Lord Dagon. 'When I walk the earth again, the Faithful among you shall receive your reward: to be set above all other Mortals forever. As for the rest: the weak shall be winnowed; the timid shall be cast down; the mighty shall tremble at my feet and pray for pardon.' Your reward, Brothers and Sisters! The time of Cleansing draws nigh. I go now to Paradise. I shall return with Lord Dagon at the coming of the Dawn!"
