Divorce?

Strange glitch

A strange glitch has occured where Maramal says the wrong dialog while talking to him. Eg: When asked about Mara's beliefs he say "Nice try blossom. I'm not a knight, i'm a mercenary. The answers still no, besides your mother would miss you to much.". I just found really odd but the subtitles read what he ment to say and i could still the amulet off of him. Crash After Coversation

Maramal's Speech Bug

It is possible that Maramal doesn't start his speech when entering the Bee and Barb even if Sapphire is present. This is caused by not entering Riften throught the main gate, either by getting arrested by a Riften guard in the hold or by entering through the docks. This can be solved by reloading to a previous save and entering the city normally.

I assume the bug is that he's stuck in the tavern doing nothing? If you're on PC, try using clicking on him with the console, then using disable to have him disappear; exit the console and then enter back in, this type typing enable while his RefID is still active. That can sometimes fix dialogue bugs. Otherwise (and or if on console edition), trying running into him a few times, or use Unrelenting Force and then immediately accept going to jail for it.
