I found Sam and had this quest start from the bar in Markarth. (Sorry can't remember the name of the bar) Could somebody find if this can be found in multiple places randomly, or if my game was just bugged somehow? I was playing on 360. Cc99910 Talk 04:36, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
Bugs/Glitches[]

The invisible portal to Misty Grove
- In some instances, If the player is to return to Morvunskar and make their way to where the portal was in the quest, Sanguine will be standing idly-by, reciting ordinary NPC lines, and there will still be text reading "to Misty Grove", even though the graphic of the portal may not be present. The player is permitted to pass through the portal and may again gain access to Misty Grove. However, once inside, it will become apparent that Sanguine is no longer at the dining table, and only the guests remain there. Therefore, there is no way for the player to leave Misty Grove, and the player must reload an earlier save file as the game can no longer continue. On the PC, you can open the console and type "tcl" to toggle collision, and then fly under the map, just below where you enter Misty Grove, to find a door that will take you back to Morvunskar. (Patch 1.4 has fixed this bug)
Esbern in Misty Grove
- It is also possible for the player to be confronted by Esbern while spending time in Misty Grove after gaining access to it again as the above bug suggests. Unlike the commoners at the dining table, you can go into dialogue with Esbern. If the player is to follow Esbern, he will walk towards the point where the player entered Misty Grove, and will seemingly open a non-existent door to leave Misty Grove, and even the creaking of a door opening will be heard. Esbern will disappear/fade away, as many NPC's do when entering/leaving a region.

Realm of Oblivion?[]
Misty Grove is a place where Sanguine and his followers live, drinking wine for all eternity (Or at least as long as they please) and is another plane of existence.
Obviously it's his Realm of Oblivion. How come the article doesn't say this?
Adding to the fact that Elder Scrolls canon implies that "All worlds" are realms of Oblivion, even Mundus. The fact Sanguine is the leader of this place, obviously there's no other answer. This is his Realm of Oblivion.
If I'm wrong can someone please explain the reasoning?
