Seems the base values for scaled armor listed are wrong, ingame it has a lower rating than leather.

- Scaled armor has a base armor rating of 32. Leather has a base armor rating of 26. Kastagir (talk) 21:33, December 18, 2011 (UTC)
Scaled vs. Elven Edit
Scaled armor, with my character's current perks and skills, is only 2 points stronger than Elven (guilded). Elven guilded armor is stronger than scaled, but the scaled boots, bracers and helmet are stronger than Elvin counterparts. A complete set of scaled armor has an armor rating of 194 vs Elvin's 192. I don't have the materials to craft a complete set of each and improve them, but does a full set of improved scaled armor vs. a full set of improved Elven armor have more than a couple of points of extra protection? --jimnms 01:25, December 17, 2011 (UTC)
- Scaled will achieve a higher level of protection when fully upgraded, beyond the 2 point difference that exists between the base armor values of scaled and elven. There is also the appearance of the armor to be considered and weight is not usually a factor if you take the Unhindered perk. Kastagir (talk) 21:37, December 18, 2011 (UTC)
Horned scale armor Edit
Shouldn't the horned scaled armor be added? it's statiscally identical to the normal peice, but with a diffent visual apperance. 184.108.40.206 15:31, December 20, 2011 (UTC)
