Shout and Loot[]
The word wall had a word for Elemental Fury for me. Also in the throne room with the blood, on the floor were two regular rubies, one at the base of the throne, the other near the pull chain that torches the cage. Just past this room lead to a doorway, that seems to dead end, with a sword stuck in the ground (for me it was a Virtuous Glass Greatsword). Inside the doorway on the left is a pull chain that opens the wall behind you leading to a path with an exit to South Shriekwind Bastion. --jimnms (talk) 07:45, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
Follower bug?[]
I was playing with Aela as my follower on the PS3 version and she also would not go past the battering rams room but instead just stood there moving from wall to wall while remaining in the same place.Confirm the bug for the PS3?
crashing when entering, both from north and south[]
i have a quest assigned from the companions, to retrieve a family heirloom... it is inside shriekwind bastion, but as of title, game keeps crashing when i get inside... sometimes it crashed when approaching it or just by reloading the most recent save... i don't know what to do except make the quest complete by using console command... anyone else had this problem?Yubbo (talk) 17:07, May 3, 2012 (UTC)
Pedestals with buttons pressed by potions?! []
In the room with the word wall, there are two pedestals, one on either side of the corridor, just before you reach the coffin and wall area. For me, each one held a potion (I don't remember what I picked..). Upon picking up each potion, a button raised on each pedestal (ie. the potions had been holding down the buttons with their weight). What, if anything, do these buttons activate / open / close ?! Bachibouzouk5 (talk) 21:47, November 16, 2012 (UTC)
- Came here looking for the same answer. Had a particularly good save for troubleshooting this 'problem'(?), but found nothing significant after almost an hour. There is no trap activated, no door opened, or any other effect turned on/off as as a result by disturbing these pressure plates, as far as I can tell at least - doesn't seem to matter where you go within, who you kill, or from where you enter. As far as dungeons go, this one does have a significant number of levers and such, so I'd guess the devs installed it with the intention of a trap of some kind, and forgot about it...
