somthing is up with my game, i think, i've got a masterforge steel cutlass, unenchanted, but yet i can damage ghosts...is this normal? -Oddblud

Only these following types of swords work on ghosts: Silver, Daedric and magically enchanted weapons. The other thing that works on ghosts is Hand to Hand, but it requires the level of skill to be at least a the level of Journeyman. --Bippo Ernesti 00:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, first time on the oblivion wikia, but where are the IDs for everything? I'm used to having the ids right on the page in the fallout wikias.--TheFrogger (talk) 00:07, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

max damage for swords wrong? Edit

sorry, i'm new to oblivion and this wiki, so i hope i don't ask a bogus question ... but: why are the max damage values for iron, fine iron, steel and fine steel longswords so high? does a fine steel longsword do more damage than a daedric one? does a fine steel longsword really do 10pts more damage than a fine steel claymore? —This unsigned comment is by 83.64.253.66 (talkcontribs) . also, the values differ depending on the page swords (by skill) (very high) vs. weapons by material (more likely). —This unsigned comment is by Schnalle (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
