I had already cleared out Cragslane Cavern before I started the quest, so it won't update or let me talk to the Jarl. I was wondering if anybody knows how to fix it, or if there's another way to become Jarl.

I completed Aela's animal extermination quest, then when I ask her for work again, I'm given a misc. quest to find Riften's skooma dealer. Is this the same quest? I spoke to Wujeeta in Riften during the animal extermination quest, gave her a health potion but she did not start any quest. Wujeeta was not at the docks or fishery when I spoke to her, she was outside by the stables, which is a side effect (bug) of the animal extermination quest causing the Riften citizens to wait out by the stable until it is completed. --jimnms (talk) 08:54, February 17, 2012 (UTC)
- I figured out what's going on. It appears this quest can't start if animal extermination is active. I loaded up a save from before starting the animal extermination quest, went to Riften, talked to Wujeeta and am given the "Find Riften's Skooma Dealer" right after giving her the healing potion. --jimnms (talk) 09:11, February 17, 2012 (UTC)
Picture Request[]
I just went through this quest with an eye to photography and there is really isn't anything more suitable. The only three real candidates are:
- The Jarl
- Wujeeta
- Some interior shot of what is otherwise a completely normal Skyrim building interior.
I vote for removing the picture request tag, this quest is simply not photogenic. DaBarkspawn (talk) 16:48, May 14, 2017 (UTC)
