Does this mean you can effectively sneak with heavy armor, or does the sneak penalty still apply? 03:27, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

Needs Disambiguation with Steed Stone page[edit source]

I suggest a disambiguation page for these two Steed Stones. The Steed Stone in Oblivion should be named Steed Stone (Oblivion) and the Steed Stone in Skyrim should be named Steed Stone (Skyrim).

On the PS3 the steed stone has been having the following effect for me: -100 weight (not +100 carry), all armor equipped or carried (stored) weighs nothing.

Bug! After loading saved game steed stone effect disappears and appears only after entering inventory screen! This is most noticable when you carry capacity is almost full and you load saved game, it says "You are carrying too much and cannot run.", after entering inventory and exit inventory it turns back to normal.

Has the "armor stacking" bug been fixed?[edit source]

I'm talking about this:

When using the Steed, it is possible to carry multiple copies of the same armor with no effect on total carry weight, even items with different enchantments (as long as they are the same base item). Wearing one of the items makes them all weigh nothing.

This used to be true, but then I got a new laptop and reinstalled Skyrim (hadn't played in a while too).

Now I find that when I wear one of my 2 pairs of orcish boots, only one of them is accounted as weighting nothing.

TL;DR: If I carry multiple copies of the same armor and wear one of them, only this one will weight nothing. What do?

(FYI the only mods installed that would affect this are the unofficial Skyrim patches, and I haven't found anything in their changelog related to "fixing" the steed stone in such a way. Disabling them doesn't seem to make a difference either). 23:59, January 25, 2014 (UTC)

Location needed[edit source]

This page needs a section describing the stones Location.Garry Damrau(talk) 05:33, April 29, 2015 (UTC)
