Possible quest-break?[]

I found one of her satchels, the one in Ivarstead, before I ever talked to her. Now all I get when I talk to her is "where am I supposed to be going, again?" and no record in my quest journal!

I have yet to pick up the other two items, so I hope I can still hand them in - still, it would be nice if I could get a record in my journal, this game is built on sidetracking! FungusTrooper (talk) 11:47, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

UPDATE: Yes, getting all three items still updates the "quest", even if you don't have it in the first place - I was able to hand the items in for the scrolls reward. FungusTrooper (talk) 12:00, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

Another possible quest breaking bug?[]

I don't remember if it had a soul in it when I found it, or if it was filled when I was using the soul trap spell. It doesn't show up in the list of soul gems when enchanting items, but I saw today that it does show up when recharging a weapon. I used it, thinking it wouldn't be consumed since it was a quest item, but it was. Luckily I noticed and was able to re-load a save from a few minutes before. I don't know what happens if you were to use it and return to Wylandriah. I'll try to remember when I return to her to save my game, then use it and see what happens. I'm not planning to return to Riften for a bit though. --jimnms (talk) 21:48, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

Wylandriah soul gem used to charge weapon - cant reloed - what to do?[]

I have experienced the same thing - my Wylandriah soul gem has been used to charge a weapon. My problem is that it is first now I discovered it was a quest item and that is has been used to charge a weapon I dont have anymore. I cant reload to a previous saved game since it's many many many saved games ago (which are now deleted) that I got & used this soul gem for charing a weapon. What do I do?

Is there a "bug code" I can use in console in order to complete the mission anyway since the soul gem truely is gone?
