Taneth is a city located in southern Hammerfell on the Abecean Sea. It is one of several possible locations that the Eternal Champion may discover in The Elder Scrolls: Arena.
History
Little is known about this city, except that it was attacked by the Camoran Usurper in 3E 253 and that the nearby city of Elinhir did not help them.
According to Kematu in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, sometime before 4E 201, the city of Taneth was betrayed to the Aldmeri Dominion by a noblewoman of the town named Iman, who is now living in Whiterun under an alias .[1]
