Taneth is a city located in southern Hammerfell on the Abecean Sea. It is one of several possible locations that the Eternal Champion may discover in The Elder Scrolls: Arena.
History
Little is known about this city, except that it was attacked by the Camoran Usurper in 3E 253 and that the nearby city of Elinhir did not help them.[1]
According to Kematu in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, sometime before 4E 201, the city of Taneth was betrayed to the Third Aldmeri Dominion by a noblewoman of the town named Iman, who is now living in Whiterun under an alias.[2]
