Tankards are commonly found throughout Skyrim and are used primarily for drinking beverages such as ale or mead. Characters may be seen drinking with these at taverns and inns. They can also be used as decoration for houses. There are various shapes and sizes to be found throughout Skyrim, but the most commonly seen anywhere are a dull, iron color. Characters may be seen drinking from them in different places.

- Tankards can be found almost anywhere in Skyrim, such as dungeons, inns, and character houses.
- Two are found in the first room of Helgen Keep when following Hadvar during the quest "Unbound," and can be backtracked to if the Dragonborn followed Ralof.
