Thane of the Pale is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Dragonborn can gain the title of Thane of The Pale.

- Assist three citizens of The Pale
- Return to the Jarl
Walkthrough[]
Thane of The Pale is obtained by completing the following tasks: The quest "Waking Nightmare," which is begun by talking to Erandur in the Windpeak Inn. Then complete three minor quests.
The Dragonborn must be level 22 to obtain the quest "Kill the Giant", which then leads to the offer to become a Thane (after completing the three minor quests)
