Walkthrough[]

Outside the Mnemonic Planisphere, you will find a woman named Amili Lloryn. She will tell you that cultists are trying to take the stars from the sky in order to steal Sotha Sil's memories. She will ask you to come inside so she can explain with more clarity. Head inside and follow Amili into the Planisphere proper, then speak with her. She will explain that Seht stores his memories here in the form of stars. You are to find the central stars in each constellation and put them back in their place, and all the other stars will follow.

There are three doors in this room, leading to the Thief's Wing, the Warrior's Wing and the Mage's Wing. Each of these wings houses six of the stars you are looking for, two of which will be in static locations while the others roam the halls. In the Thief's Wing in the east, you will find one of the static stars in the southernmost tip of the section while the other will be in the northeast. Once you have gathered all six stars here, head back and give the star-scooper to the Astronomer. Something will go wrong while putting the stars back in the sky; talk to the Astronomer and he will tell you the memories have been corrupted, and if this goes on the memories will be lost forever, even to Seht himself.

Your task now is to head into the various wings and place the stars in the correct constellations manually. In the Thief's Wing, head to the easternmost room and take the lift to the upper wing. Head across the hallway and take another elevator to the Hall o the Thief, then head through the door to the Planisphere. Use the telescope there to see which stars are missing, and Amili will appear. She will tell you to use the constellation guide on the floor here to align the stars with the locations of the missing ones you see on the ceiling. You will then see a memory of the moment the Astronomer was appointed.

Head back to the upper wing and head northwest to the northern part of the building. In the room south of the northern hallway, head left and take the elevator to the Hall of the Mage, head into the planisphere and repeat the same process as with the Thief constellation. Here, the vision you will see is one of Sotha Sil bestowing the Astronomer the knowledge of how to perform a certain spell to bestow his powers onto his successor. Finally, head into the Warrior Wing to the west; the elevator will be east of te hallway. Here you will see a memory of the Astronomer pledging that he would sacrifice anything for Seht.

Once you have restored all these memories to their proper place, head back to the ground floor of the planisphere and speak with Amili there. You can now see the whole memory the cultists tried to steal; the Astronomer had to give up his memories of his prior life when he took this position. Amili will be upset by this, as it means that once she gets the position, she will have to give that up too. She will run from the scene; go after her and speak with her. You can either tell her to go through with it and give up her memories for the greater good, or you can tell her the price is too great. If you choose the former, [?]. If you choose the latter, Amili will ask you to stand by her as she tells the Astronomer. The astronomer will cast her out of the order and shun her until she finds him a new apprentice to fill her role. Speak with him afterwards to finish the quest.
