The Corpse and the Skooma Pipe is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The quest starts only when the Nerevarine is intrigued enough by the note and the skooma pipe on the corpse of Ernil Omoran to go and find Tsiya, to whom the note is directed and who ownes the skooma pipe.

Quick walkthroughEdit

  1. Find the corpse of Ernil Omoran near an arched rock near the road to Caldera from Balmora.
  2. Find a way to enter Tsiya's House in Balmora and tell her the bad news.
  3. Either give her the items found on the corpse or tell her nothing was there.

Detailed walkthroughEdit

While traveling on the road to Caldera from Balmora on the first sign post a large arched rock should be in view. Almost underneath it there is the body of Ernil Omoran. Loot Tsiya's Skooma Pipe and the Note From Ernil, then head back to Balmora to find Tsiya.

Tsiya's house is on the west side, facing the river, refer to the map if it can't be found. There is a 50-point lock on the door, so if incapable of lockpicking it head to Galbedir of the Balmora Mages Guild, buy a Scroll of Ondusi's Unhinging and use it on the door. She will on the top floor.

Once inside talk to Tsiya about "specific people". Further dialogue will conclude with her learning of the death of Ernil. There are two choices from there: Give the note and skooma pipe back to Tsiya for a reward of 10 moon sugars, 50 gold and her thanks, or tell her nothing was on the body and keep the skooma pipe.

10After having found the corpse of Ernil, and the other objects on it I decided to travel to see Tsiya in Balmora.
15I talked to Tsiya, but I hadn't picked up the item Ernil was carrying for her. She seems like she wants it back, though.
20I've delivered the pipe to Tsiya. She was glad to have it back, although she was upset about the death of her friend, Ernil Omoran, whose corpse it was I found. As reward for her items, she has given me some gold and moon sugar.

30I told Tsiya there was nothing on the corpse of Ernil for her. She'll be better off anyway.
