This page serves as a place where editors can make specific image requests to use on articles that they are working on.

Requesting an image

To request an image, make a new header that links to the article that you wish to add an image to. Below that provide a detailed explanation of the image you need and leave your signature. Don't be vague in your request. Try to give specific. For example:

The Towers A scenic daytime image of the Throat of the World. Taken from ground level at a spot where a clear silhouette of the mountain is visible. - Jimeee (talk) 13:28, September 21, 2012 (UTC)

Providing an image

If you wish to fulfill a request, respond to the editor by posting directly below their request with a link to the uploaded image. Strike out the original request by adding an <s>tag at the start of the request and a </s> tag at the end, or use the abc button in visual mode. Don't remove the request. Remember that images should not include the HUD or crosshairs.

Deleting a request

Once a request has been fulfilled, it may be removed from the list. The editor who requested the image should remove the request once they are happy. If a fulfilled request is not dealt with in a timely manner, an admin may remove it from the list to tidy up the page.
