It has been a big week, I hope you all are well, let us get started on this weeks weekly wiki updates:
- Well, the Fantasy Food battle has reached an end, The outcome is unimportant, we got together as a community and even got others to work with us. The Sandbox wiki and the Fallout wiki where great to work with on this, as well as the groups I listed last week. I want to thank each and every person who voted for us and helped us get as far as we did. We also want to thanks some other FB groups, including:
- I also want to give thanks to these sites as well, who helped us in our goals as well
- We have THREE editors applying for Chat mod rights. A chat mods job is to keep the peace in chat, a larger challenge then you would think. One of our current chat mods has spoken to both of them and has assisting in making sure both are up to task. Make sure to get involved and let us know if you support the applicants.
- This is the last weekend of the month, so be sure to put in your votes for our MOTM and FA nominations.
- We have a Consensus track about adding a new feature to the wiki. With this new update, people will be able to review articles on a scale of one to five. This will allow us as editors to see how some articles are seen, and will hopefully be able to deal with articles better because of it. Please join the conversation and share your thoughts
- With the help of Emperor Jarjarkine we now have a new template on the bottom of our policy articles. The template lists all of our policy articles, to assist in editors and guest finding what they want. I will add this template to my profile, and I want to thank Jarjarkine for not only setting the template up, but added it for us.
Moot Summary
- Went over nominations for FA, and Chat mod. Discussed CT
- We approved the marking of inactive staff 5-0. Both approved editors will be marked as retired and have their color removed, we will not remove their rights at this time.
- We are going to look into adding new emotes, mainly the fishy stick and perhaps mead
- Atve request those with games Skyrim and older replay them and help with quotes and walkthroughs, as these area's always need improvement
- We decided with a 5-1-2 vote to start a quote of the week. The quotes will start next week, and will be shown only in the weekly update, but in an archive page as well.
- We will be doing more to make use of our news team. Some feel that the News team is a joke and has no use on the wiki. With this, we are giving the news team a new job, and special rights to allow them to get this done hassle free. After a Moot, the news team will be responsible for making sure the changes go through, and things like policies and articles reflect these new changes. They will also help make sure that the moot content they can handle is updated. The only part they wont be able to update is the moot logs, as only Flight can get KINMUNE's logs. I will write something tomorrow to give more details on this and what you can do to join the news team.
