"Brilliant. Why is it that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the ones who are most certain of them?"

  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr is now avaliable in Early Access on PC/Mac! The official release is on 4th June, so even PC/Mac players can still pre-purchase the DLC. There's a whole new zone, class and a new trial to explore, all described in this news entry. If you want to visit Elsweyr, open your map, select the Elsweyr zone, and then select the Rimmen Wayshrine icon. You can also start the first quest from your Collections UI (click Stories, then Chapters to find Elsweyr). Of course, the Chapter adds a new tutorial, so new characters end up in the new zone. There's also Update 22 avaliable to everyone (you don't have to own Elsweyr to have the Update). It brings:
    • the Guildfinder, a tool to find and filter guilds by activities (PvP, Trials, Trading, Roleplaying, etc) or by play style (casual, balanced, hard-core). Guilds can set requirements, such as Alliances, Champion Point requirements, or roles.
    • Weapons Artifacts in Cyrodiil. At random points during an ongoing Alliance War campaign about 4-5 times a day, a powerful weapon will spawn. The first player to reach the Weapon Artifact and use it gains a new, specific Skill Line. The first Artifact to be added is Volendrung.
  • Dragons are going to be a new version of events such as Dark Anchors or Abyssal Geysers, but they are quite different. You have to chase them down when you see them in the skies and then battle them in one of the many spots where they can land. A special icon indicating a dragon on the compass can help find a group chasing down a beast. They are not as predictable as previous events that were located in specific locations and they can't be defeated solo. You certainly need a team to battle the dragons. Read more here.
  • There's also an interview with guildmasters of two Trial guilds, Uprising Savages and Clown Core. They discuss getting new members, the way their guilds function, communicating and preparing yourself for Trials.
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is no longer avaliable in The Elder Scrolls Online Store and on Steam Store. It's a DLC item in Crown Store now, so ESO Plus members can access it if they didn't purchase it earlier. Yes, you can buy it with crowns, if you want to.
