::::::::So if there's general support for the change in policy, does a sysop want to write up some new policies and make an announcement? --SuperSajuuk <small>Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel</small> 18:46, June 29, 2014 (UTC)

:::::::::Jimeee said he will have a look at it when he has the time. I also would like to mention if we also can add in the policy that when using a name in the signature, please let it at least give a hunch of who the user is? So you don't have to hover over it to see the users name? Some users keep changing names all the time and it's frustrating in my opinion. 18:51, July 13, 2014 (UTC)

::::It might just be a whole lot easier to have a "No nicknames in signature" rule, as well as a "You must link to your userpage and talkpage, but if no userpage exists, then you may link to just your talkpage" rule. As you know, the purpose of a signature is to identify someone: nicknames that are not the user's actual username breaks the purpose of a signature at all. It's like writing a letter and signing yourself as "Jimeee" when you are actually "EbonySkyrim" (as an example) --SuperSajuuk <small>Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel</small> 19:30, July 13, 2014 (UTC)

Signature policy
I brought this up at least a year ago and it was ignored by the previous sysops, so I'm bringing it up again. This page is not a policy whatsoever, it's just a help document about how to sign stuff. This has allowed users to basically create random nicknames in their signature, obscuring who they are when signing, which is not helpful whatsoever in important consensus discussions. So please, sort out the policy. --Sajuuk <small>talk | contribs | Channel</small> 10:13, March 22, 2015 (UTC)
