The Great Tree is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online. The Vestige must travel to Elden Root.
Background[]
Queen Ayrenn has heard rumblings of discontent in Elden Root, the Aldmeri Dominion's capital. She wants me to travel ahead of her and assess the situation.
Objectives[]
- Talk to Captain Jimila in Skywatch.
- Talk to Captain Jimila on the Prowler in Vulkhel Guard.
- Talk to King Camoran Aeradan in the Elden Root Throne room.
Walkthrough[]
After getting the quest from Queen Ayrenn, you will be asked to travel to Skywatch, where you will meet Captain Jimila, owner of the ship called The Prowler. She will then gives you the challenge of a drinking contest. If you win this challenge, you will get your own private cabin. However, if you lose, you have to do the whole ship's laundry. Unfortunately, there is no mini-game and you will always lose. When you accept, your screen fades to black and you then supposedly wake up behind a nearby boulder. When you reach The Prowler, Captain Jimila seems drunk and insists that she won the contest. You can agree, or you can use the Persuasion perk to convince her that you won. It seems to have no major part in the quest.
You will then arrive just outside a port town called haven, which is being attacked by a band of pirates who call themselves the "Jackdaws." You can choose to completely pass by and continue or save the town. If you continue northwest, you will come to Elden Root, capital of the Dominion. Here, after a series of tunnels, you will come across a throne room, where you will meet King Cameron Aeradan, who will end the quest.
