Background[edit | edit source]
Fura Bloodmouth or Garan Marethi sends the Dragonborn to a radiant location to discreetly kill a Dawnguard member who is pretending to be either a traveling merchant, traveling bard or traveling pilgrim.
Possible locations[edit | edit source]
- Dragon Bridge
- Nightgate Inn
- Old Hroldan
- Raven RockDR
- Shor's Stone
Strategies[edit | edit source]
Option A[edit | edit source]
The first option is to convince the target to follow the Dragonborn with a high enough Speech skill. If the Dragonborn persuades or intimidates the target to follow them, they can lure the target to a hidden place and kill them.
Option B[edit | edit source]
The second option is to kill the target from a hidden location: This is best done with a high sneak.
Option C[edit | edit source]
The third option is to use a hidden identity by transforming. Go to a hidden location and then transform into a werewolf or a vampire lord, if available. Everyone will become hostile to the Dragonborn, but their identity will be hidden and they can kill the target and then flee before taking too much damage from attacking citizens and guards. (Unconfirmed on PC but you will still fail the optional objective to be discreet on Xbox 360 and PS3)
Option D[edit | edit source]
Option E[edit | edit source]
A fourth option would be to cast soul trap on the target, causing him to become hostile towards you. Then lead the target outside of any populated areas before sheathing your weapon to cease his attack. You can then kill the target discreetly without gaining any bounty, or being attacked by others.
