The Imperial Library, often shortened to TIL, is a fan-run website dedicated to the lore of The Elder Scrolls series. The website contains all in-game books, letters, notes, and songs, as well as user-written analyses and interviews of Bethesda employees on all topics that are Elder Scrolls related. The Elder Scrolls Wiki considers their articles as reliable sources.

Originally called Xanathar's Library upon inception, the Imperial Library arose in 1998, following the release of The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard.

Assistant LibrariansEdit

Due to the superior quality of their articles and exclusiveness with which new information is added to the Imperial Library, their articles are considered reliable sources on The Elder Scrolls Wiki; contentious statements can be backed by articles written by Librarians from this site.

The Imperial Library hosts both the exact in-game texts of all books, as well as analyses on a vast array of topics. For a list of topics covered at the Library, view their index.
