For other uses, see The Lover Stone.

The Lover Stone is a standing stone in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The Dragonborn gains 15% more experience in all skills.

The Lover Stone is found east of Markarth, north of Kolskeggr Mine

The Lover Stone may be useful for those attempting to level skills equally for a hybrid playstyle; for example a "Nightblade" (stealth/magic), a "Ranger" (stealth/warrior), or a "Spellsword" (magic/warrior).

Those with Lycanthropy may find this stone useful, as they cannot gain any resting bonuses from sleeping.

When using the Aetherial Crown, while having the Lover Stone's effect, unequip it before sleeping. Re-equip it after to obtain the Rested, Well Rested, and Lover's Comfort experience bonuses.

  • Lover's Comfort, as normally obtained, is not stackable with the effects of the stone, since the effects of the latter are a permanent version of the former's. The same applies for Well Rested.

    • HI yall... Has anyone tested the fortify restoration glitch with the lover stone? And what were the results?
    • well, I tested it with the lord stone and it didn't work so I assume the same holds true for the lover stone.
