Walkthrough[]
After the Vestige have saved High King Emeric's life from Galthis, the Night Terror, the king tasks them with political unrest in Rivenspire. After Ranser's War, the King appointed three noble houses to rule Rivenspire, but now the situation turned into a bloody conflict. Before all that though, the King wants the Vestige to speak to with Captain Ernele, whom he tasked with destroying the guillotine. The King wants to make sure it's done properly. Captain Ernele ensured the Vestige they are destroying the guillotine thoroughly and that they will redouble their effort. Now, the Vestige is ready to head for Rivenspire. Upon arriving in Oldgate, the Vestige needs to speak with Darien Gautier. He informs them that Baron Montclair, head of one of the three noble houses that rule Rivenspire, has decided to start a war. Darien tasks the Vestige with speaking to Countess Tamrith in Shornhelm.
