The Serpent Lord is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Background

Sea Elves have entered Serpent's Grotto, and one of the Maormer mages has broken the seals that bound a massive sea serpent here for centuries.

Priestess Sendel gave me a blood rune. I need to kill enemies to fill the blood rune and then use it on each of the three seals the Maormer have broken.

Walkthrough

In the Serpent's Grotto, you will find a woman named Priestess Sendel reading an old tome. If you speak with her, she will tell you that the Maormer have invaded the grotto and broken the seals that were placed on the sea serpent that resides in this cave. She will task you with restoring the seals, and will give you the Blood Rune you need to do so.

Progress through Serpent's Grotto, defeating 15 Maormer along the way. (5 are required for each of the seals, using the Blood Rune.

(These can be either the Lamia, Lamia Domina, or one of the Maormer.)

Types of Sea Vipers (Maormer) include:

• Sea Viper Charger
• Sea Viper Icemaster
• Sea Viper Tempest

Once the Blood Rune is filled, use it on one of the seals to repair it. Do this for all three seals. Elain's seal is found in the room south of where you met the priestess, Ralos's seal is in the southeastern room and Valir's seal is in the room north of there. Once all three seals have been destroyed, meet up with Priestess Sendel in the far northeast of the cave. She has just dispelled a barrier the Maormer have placed there; speak with her and she will tell you that this is the door to the Binding Pool. She will need to perform a ritual there, but she is afraid that the Maormer mage responsible for breaking the seals is also in here, so she will ask you to deal with them.

Head through and you will find the mage Eilgun the Serpent Lord engaged in some kind of ritual. Your task is to slay this mage while the priestess prepares the ritual. Once the mage is dead, use your blood rune to repair the final seal; the one the mage was interacting with. There will be a flash of light. You will find Priestess Sendel behind you, exhausted. Speak with her to finish the quest.
