The Shrine of Valor is a shrine found in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Description[]

The shrine is a small three sided triolith adorned by a representation of the god Vivec, which grants a unique blessing.

Background[]

The shrine commemorates the battle between Vivec and the "Father Dreugh," known as the Ruddy Man. After being defeated, the Ruddy Man promised that his children will offer their hides to the Dunmer people so they may use it as Armor[1]. It is one of the seven shrines that must be visited during the "Pilgrimages of the Seven Graces" quest.

Location[]

It is found within the Koal Cave in the West Gash region, on the north-western shore of Vvardenfell.

Blessing[]

Note: Dreugh wax must be donated to receive it's blessing.

The Shrine of Valor grants for 48 minutes: Fortify:

If the Dreugh Warlord, located deeper in the cave, has been defeated, the shrine will also grant a unique enchanted Dreugh Cuirass.

Quests[]

Pilgrimages of the Seven Graces[]

To join the Tribunal Temple faction, the Nerevarine must complete a long pilgrimage to receive the blessing of seven shrines across Vvardenfell, one of them is the Shrine of Valor.

Trivia[]

  • The blessing can be exploited to get several Dreugh Cuirasses.
