After completing The Disappearance of Captain Carius, the Nerevarine will be told by Tharsten Heart-Fang to go and see Korst Wind-Eye in the shaman's hut. After asking about the rituals Tharsten spoke about, he'll give the player a copy of The Story of Aevar Stone-Singer and a map showing the locations of all six stones.

All the rituals are separate quests and can be completed in any order. These are the quests which must be completed in order to complete this quest:

• The Ritual of Water
• The Ritual of Earth
• The Ritual of Beasts
• The Ritual of Trees
• The Ritual of the Sun
• The Ritual of the Winds

Once all six quests are completed, the player receives a journal entry to return to Tharsten Heart-Fang and will be rewarded with the Mace of Aevar Stone-Singer.

Quick walkthrough

1. Head to the Skall village (should be marked on your map)
2. Talk to Tarsten Heart-Fang in the greathall
3. Speak to Korst Wind-eye
4. Using the Map locate the Water Stone and activate it (the stones look like giant Stalagmites)
5. Head West to the Small Island
6. Follow the Horker North
7. Swim down into the underwater cave (you don't need water breathing potions but you will lose quite a bit of health from drowning)
8. Kill the Skeleton and take the Waters of life on the floor
9. Head to the Water Stone and activate it
10. Find the Earth Stone and activate it
11. Head North east to the the cave of the hidden music
12. Use the 3 pillars to mimic the music you hear twice
13. Head back to the Earth Stone and activate it
14. Head to the Beast Stone and activate it
15. Travel south to find a bear attacking rieklings kill the rieklings and heal the bears wounds
16. Have the bear follow you to the Beast Stone and activate it
17. Head to the Tree Stone and activate it
18. Travel east and kill the Spriggans and riekling, take all the seeds from the riekling.
19. Travel a bit North west of the stone to plant them
20. Activate the Tree Stone
21. Activate the Sun Stone
22. Go west and enter the Halls of Penumbra
23. Find and kill Lightkeeper Grahl in the cave and loot the eye from the corpse
24. Use the eye on the wall of ice to melt it and release the light
25. Return and activate the Sun Stone
26. Head to the Wind Stone and activate it
27. Travel Southeast to Glenschul's Tomb
28. Inside find a bag and release the wind from it
29. Return and activate the Wind Stone
30. Return to Tharsten in the Great hall.
