For the item, see Stone of St. Alessia.

The Stone of St. Alessia is a quest in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This quest is the last available through Azzan of the Fighters Guild in Anvil. He wants the Hero to recover the Stone of St. Alessia in Bruma, as it has been stolen by thieves.

Walkthrough[]

Talk to Azzan to begin the quest. He will tell the Hero to head to the Chapel of Talos in Bruma and speak to Cirroc. He will explain that a group of bandits stole the holy relic from the Church, the Stone of St. Alessia. The thieves headed east.

Follow the quest marker to K'Sharr, who is standing in the open east of town. He will admit to the Hero that his group of bandits stole the gem, but it was stolen when ogres attacked the group of them, leaving K'Sharr the only survivor. The ogres took the stone to the ruins of Sedor.

While most ogres are alone, some are in groups of two or three. A combination of equipping the Ring of Khajiit, Crystalline Cuirass (light armor), and the Illusion spell Shadow will give the Hero a Chameleon effect of 115%, thus rendering them invisible to the ogres. There are several pressure plates on the floor that will open locked gates, however the Stone of St. Alessia's pressure plate is actually on a wall, as shown in the picture. (To access the wall plate, each pressure plate in the floor must be activated first.)

The map has several staircases that lead to an upper level, following the map, find the center of the main chamber and face southeast. Go west through a smaller chamber and follow it as it winds North and upstairs, the wall pressure plate will appear at the easternmost dead end.

Return the stone to Cirroc in Bruma to earn the reward from him. Then, return to Azzan and complete the quest.
