Background[]
Falinesti Summer Site is a legendary seasonal location for the Wood Elves' Walking City. But the city hasn't been seen in Tamriel for centuries. Now, something is happening at the Summer Site.

Walkthrough[]
At the Falinesti Summer Site, you will meet a woman named Tharuin the Melancholy. She will tell you that something strsange is going on at the site. There are standing stones there that were not there before, and one of her fellow Falinesti Faithful was struck by lightning when they investigated the site to see if Falinesti had returned. She will ask you to inspect the valley.
Head into the valley. You will notice that there are a lot of Daedra about. Under the stone archway in the senter of the valley, you will find the projection of a woman; speak with her and she will tell you to meet her in the cave across the plains, past the menhir. Head west into the cave, and you will find the source of the projection, an Altmer named Farandare. She is trying to rescue the Walking City, which she believes is trapped in Oblivion, and will ask you to help in her efforts.
Your mission is to quickly close the rifts between this plane and Oblivion while Farandare performs a ritual. These rifts will appear throughout the valley and will spawn Daedra to oppose you. Once they are gone, head into the cave in the north of the area and meet Farandare there. She is busy casting lightning spells on something; talk to her and she will tell you that she has crafted a portal for the city to come through. When you tell her that this portal looks an awful lot like the one the Daedra came through, she will ask you to defend her from Daedra while she proceeds to try and bring the Walking City back through this portal. The moment you agree to this, a Daedroth named Tulu will come through; kill it, then talk to Farandare again. She will say that she is unable to sense Falinesti through the portal, and when pressured, she will give up this line of research as it will only lead to more Daedra coming over. This will finish the quest.
