The Summoner is a miscellaneous quest in The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal. It concerns two Mage brothers, who plan to terrorize the city of Mournhold with their powers.
Background
Gavis Velas is a feared summoner in Mournhold. His less talented brother Ovis Velas strives to take the credit for Gavis' actions and eventually attacks the Nerevarine on the Great Bazaar, assuming they would be an easy fight. Killing him starts the quest.
Objectives
- Kill Ovis Velas and take the key to Velas Manor from his body.
- Talk to Drathas Reyas.
- Head to Velas Manor.
- Kill Gavis Velas.
Walkthrough
Drathas Reyas walks in the Great Bazaar: he mentions a rumor about a hostile magician named Ovis Velas. If you enter the magic shop and come out, Ovis Velas will appear and try to kill the Nerevarine to take control of Mournhold.
On his corpse, the Nerevarine will find a key. Return to Drathas Reyas: he will explain that there is the Velas Manor in Godsreach. Indeed, the key opens the door of the manor. Gavis Velas, his brother's son, is obviously going to want to avenge: he will call on 2 unfortunate golden saints and a shabby Ogrim Titan.

- Acquisition of the Velas Manor.
