Trivia
- During the quest, it will be shown that the town is under a Daedric curse and the inhabitants are undead.
- After offering the totem to Clavicus Vile, the Vestige gains the Curse of Stillrise (two of them actually), which make him look like a skeleton. It works only in the proximity of the village but as a reward for the quest the Skeleton Polymorph will be granted which can be activated everywhere.
