Thonica

Thonica was the Imperial Consort of Uriel Septim V.^[1] When he left, and was subsequently killed during the Disaster at Ionith, she was appointed as Regent of the Empire, as she was the mother of the heir to the throne, Uriel Septim VI, who at the time was a child.^[1] The Elder Council continued to wield effectual power over the realm during this time.^[1] When Uriel came of age to rule, Thonica is said to have enjoyed her regency and hesitated to give her son the reign.^[1]
