  • I was wondering about life expectancy for a werewolf in TES lore. I don't remember the Companions mentionning anything about it, I was expecting that to be different from humans. Is there books or banter in the game on the matter?

    • they likley do die of age, for one, so much power and immortality hircine would hardly have any werewolves in his hunting grounds. not to mention there hasn been any werewolf shown to be that many years old (the oldest one we encounter is kodlak). but it is likley they at least have a slowed aging process

    • True, but we also don't know when he was turned. Oh well you're probably right because of Hircine's paradise but I find that a bit dissapointing. I'm not a big fan of vampires in TES, but this is one of their advantages.

    • Well it's possible Aela stated,""The more we feed the greater our prowess becomes we may even find more gifts of hircine." it is possible that with excessive feeding a werewolf could possibly become extremely powerful and obtain semi immortality not that it really matters considering stopping the aging process in elder scrolls is pretty easy tbh many have done it so maybe a werewolf could find a alternative way to gain it. Besides werewolf is already in my opinion much more powerful than vampires due to their adaptability and incredible strength and them being naturally more physically powerful than most creatures like giants and most warriors.

    • The Archmage of the College of Winterhold comments that if you're a talented mage you can live for several lifetimes. So it would seem that prolonged life if not immortality is common in TES. Although it is odd that TES is the only world I know of where Werewolves don't have enhanced healing abilities.

    • Werewolves in tes live a longer life than regular mortals because their beast blood does not give in to disease therefore they will be at peak fitness in life for longer then will start to go weaker with age. They live about 30-40 years longer than normal people of their race
