  • Not much more than the title to say but I'll elaborate for the hell of it you see, in the Lore I can't really find non-altmer in that order, let's take a look at the other members, we got Celarus, Quaranir, Gelebros, Tandil and Nerien all of who are altmer.

The topic articel states Divayth Fyr and Sotha Sil as members of the order, both of who were Dunmer, or former Chimer. But it doesn't seem they were official members of the Order only taught magic to some for a time.

So what are your thoughts? Is the order Altmer exclusive or was it open to Chimer as well? Would a Breton or Nord be allowed to join them should they be Knowledgeable enough of their ways?

    • In the 2nd Era they had non-Altmer members (an Imperial or Breton named Oriandra and a Redguard named Josajeh, for example). Not sure about later Eras.

I would make the argument that the book was a work of historical fiction, and certain events may be simply embelishments or errors (for example, the book states that Vivec looked like any other dunmer, when we know for a fact that is not true. Also, it contained many private conversationss that would be impossible for a scholar to know).

I believe that the Psijic order would only accept new members from other races if they a) showed great magical ability, and b) were commited to following the Old Way of the Aldmer. For example, the Dunmeri religion is set up against the Old Way, so only those with a truly open mind, such as Sotha Sil and Divath Fyr, would be welcome to the Isle
