I've noticed how most Redguard names on Skyrim are based off Arabic names, such as Ahlam, Nazeem, Nazir and that Redguard woman in The Bannered Mare using a fake name, Saadia or something?
Everyone who is using the word "Skyrim" to describe the "Elder Scrolls" series are idiots. Skyrim is a place in the universe and also the title of ONE game in the Elder Scrolls series. Like, even in the first damn post, "Redguards are the skyrim equivalent of an south african or european perosn ,but which name is adecuate to a redguard, tthe name vary a lot,so which is a common name betwen redguards" Seriously... "Redguards are the SKYRIM equivalent of ..." I dont understand how people can be so stupid.
I called mine Laqueisha, she's from the hood and will take any bitches down
I love the Redguard culture and while experimenting with the other races always come back to the dark, noble and dangerous Alik'r warrior. My fav char name has been Sol'amin. Please Bethesda, base the next Elderscroll game from Hammerfell!! 😆
Also i think they might be a people modeled after Ancient Egipt or Persian Empire in the Achaemenid Period. Perhaps some Ethiopian parts are with them too.
I suppose it depends on where they're from. If your Redguard grew up in a place with heavy Imperial influence (like a trade port or within Cyrodiil itself), they'd likely have a historical Western European name. If they primarily grew up in Hammerfell, then pick an Arabic/Middle Eastern name like Nazeem, Rayya, or Saadia.
I've named my female redguard Shazira (It sounds cool to me)
