Since Wuuthrad is a two-handed weapon, and the shield of ysgramor is a massive shield, was Ysgramor able to wield both with one hand each in lore? :o that would be an awesome perk to have in skyrim... just a random question :)

Ysgramor and Auriel both put their sheild on their back to protect their back from incoming projectiles from behind. (Looks in Mount & Blade for example).

The Shield of Ysgramor is a freakin' turtle shell! Heck, yeah, it would protect ya!!
Well, a certain standing stone bears an image of a nord holding a giant funk-off axe and a shield... -cough- warrior stone! -cough-
The jokes and references in this thread are GOLD. Literally, pure gold.

the true question where the heck did calixto get the soup spoon?
answer: he must have met ysgramor and talked over steel bread breakfast.
lead up answer: calixto is a flippin time traveller!
then calixto stole the fork, causing ysgramor to rage causing elf genocide.
so all in all, calixto is the father of the elven genocide
