Shouldn't it mention that his name is a reference to the Viking sword "ulfberht".
Trivia about the sword (+ULFBERH+T); it's made from a high quality steel with very litle slag requiring melting the iron under an temperature of 1700C which is unheard of in europe until the industrial revolution, it's also has a very well defined and even distribution of carbon also suggesting that it was melted under an high temperature. Only 171 of them have been found and quite a lot of fakes (with slightly different spelling), made out of an inferior steel suggesting that they were widely recognized at the time. Many modern day sword experts suggest that they isn't just better than the katana but also more advanced.
Sounds legit to me. Vikings also were called "bezerkers" on account of the bear fur they wore or "bear-sark" In fact, if memory serves, in the heat of battle; a viking was said to be "going bear sark" so a bezerk warrior with a special sword makes sense.
Oh wow, I hadn't even noticed. Considering Sonjavon's addition, I reckon it may actually be a Refence/Easter Egg and should atleast be put in to his Trivia section if not the Historical Refence section of Skyrim Easter Eggs.
And for a more accurate Wikipedia page on the subject:
