  • Does anyone else think the next elder scrolls should be set in Akavir instead of Tamriel? It would be the first time we see if what we have found out is real. They would have to have elder scrolls there too as otherwise it wouldn't technically be a proper Elder Scrolls gam. The reason scrolls could be there (If it is highly unlikely that there would be elder scrolls there.)could be that the invasion of Akavir had brought them over.

    • I would really like to see Akavir first-hand, but i want to see the Dominion falling first.Maybe after that, it could be set in there, leaving an enormous gap in the timeline of Tamriel, to create some suspense. When it was stated that the Akavir plot was a mistake, i was little less than upset.

I wonder how Bethesda is going to handle the "Prisoner Formula" if the game is set on Akavir.

You could start of as a prisoner of the snake-men (I forgot the name) as feeding cattle and you have to escape when the fort/dungeon your in is invaded by the Tiger people. (forget their name too) It could really show off new technologies in the opening stage where you each race has an alternate way of starting and everything looks and sounds more realistic.

    • Yeah, but well, i wouldn't like if Akaviri culture is the same as Tamrielic culture.Maybe a Prisoner of War recently aprehended in some city, dunno.

    • yeah something else would be good maybe you could start of as a drauger like thing that was ressurected by a necromacer who casted a spell slightly wrong killing him in the process. You could slowly regains your life and power untill you are the ultimate warrior.

    • I know that's I was just tired I was trying to say undead/zombie like thing, but Akavir's name means something like land of the dragons, it even tells us there are dragons as the tiger people want to become dragons. If people lived there before being killed you could be a nord (They could have actualy come from Akavir along with the other humans before they became the subspecies of human they are in skyrim. They could be related to the monkey men and are really a subspecies of them, after all The Elder Scroll isn't set on earth so it isn't unlikely.) who was buried alive as punishment for releasing other people from the snake men. (I hope this makes it more a more acurate/realistic theory.)

I know but what if Atmora's people came from Akavir? I just wanted to make the story more interesting than you are a prisoner you escape

      That is essentially Dark Souls

It'd be much more interesting if they added Dwemer, Snow Elves, Monkey Men, and Tigermen and made Tamriel and Akavir fully available, with sailing, and had a different starting location for each similar to online.

    • I'd first wanna see Valenwood and/or Elsweyr, then I'd to move onto Akavir, it seems very interesting with the races they have there.

    • Like those serpentine drgon people that apparently ate an entire species. It would sure put our curiosity to rest.
