So I've been to Tel Mithryn and have done the whole quest with Neloth. However, when I first ran out and followed Neloth, Talvas hadn't conjured the ash guardian for the quest, "From The Ashes." I'm already pretty far ahead in Skyrim Dragonborn now and I've beaten the main quest line. I don't have a save file from before the quest and Talvas won't give me the "From the Ashes" quest. Is there any way to fix this?
PLEASE help me. I'm on PS3 and I really want the Conjure Ash Guardian spell. Or is there another way I could get the spell?
Then I don't know, if the Ash Guardian is no longer there, then you probably broke the quest. When I got there he almost immediately asked for my help. & to not tell Neloth, while he goes to distract him. That was my first quest completed in Tel Mithryn, I think I went there for the black book or something. But if Talvas doesn't have the dialogue for the quest, & the ash guardian is nowhere to be found, then the quest would be uncompleteable.
Not really sure what the actual trigger is or if theres any prerequisites for the quest. Some places say you have to see Talvas and Varona arguing outside and then talk to Neloth in Tel Mithryn, then when you leave the quest will start. But it also sounds like you don't always have to do that and it. On a PC you could try starting the quest with the command -
setstage DLC2TTF1 100
Otherwise reload and try discovering Tel Mithryn again maybe.
Like i said above you may have to talk to Neloth to trigger it, people have also done other quests at Tel Mithryn like Healing a House and From the Ashes has trigger on their way out without taking to Neloth. It's a bit unclear if or what any requirements are for the quest.
