  • I usually play as a Nord, should I get it and still play as a Nordor get it and play as an Imperial.

    Thankyou.

    • I wrote that.

    • Please clarify further, I don't understand the conundrum you are in.

    • I don't have a lot of money and I'm just wondering if I get it and still play as a Nord is it worth it. Should I get it and pla as a Nord, get it and play as an Imperial or just not get it at all. I play on the Xbox.

    • Until we find out more it's kind of a shot in the dark. Of course, I believe I heard that if you don't buy the Imperial Edition you can still buy them as a race after purchase. I know, I'm in the same camp you. But I want my Imperials darn it :P

And by the way, I have no source on that, It's just something that I THINK I read somewhere.

    • would getting married and stuff be worth it would they include that for players who don't want to cough up the extra cash later?

    • Collectors editions aren't worth the extra $$$.

You'll flip through the artbook when the game is uploading and updating then probably never touch it again.

The Molag Bal statue will probably look extremely cheap. Same with the map.

      Metal case. Who cares.

The vanity items will be available in the store along with the Imperials. If you don't care about playing as an Imperial, then that doesn't matter and vanity items lose their appeal within 5 minutes of equipping them.

In the end, you'll spend $99.99 for a book you hardly looked at, a map you'll probably never open, a statue that looks cheap, a race you'll never use, and vanity items that don't matter.

      Go for the regular edition.

    • Wow what crap SubjugatedGhost. IF you bot the collecters edition of Skyrim you paid 150 bucks. You got a book a map and a statue. Now the Imperial edition comes with all these things as well as ingame conent. Buying it just for the Horse may be good enough reason. Horses cost some major gold ingame. The ability to get a horse and the rings are all awesome in game content and the abillity to be an imperial is also awesome.  Personally i think the  Imperial edition is worth it.  If you are a true fan of elderscrolls then the statue and map  aswell as the artbook.

    • It's IMO worth it. I played in three beta sessions, and ESO is amazing. So yeah, I decided to preorder the Imperial Edition. 80 euros aren't THAT much, tbh.

    • I wish I could find a place that still had the retail PC Imperial Edition. I want the statue, book, and map. It sold out really fast locally.

        Loading editor
    • Yeah, it was also sold out quite fast here in Germany. I hope I can find a second hand statue and book some time after ESO is released.

    • Your avatar can sprint faster then a horse and runs about 90% the speed of a horse and with exploration considered a horse will decrease your typical loot of runestones and Ores from mining if you travel directly to quest objectives

Best thing for horse if if your PvPing and u wanna travel to Forts quicker, i hope by then that ide have money from gettin up- to like lvl 25 to buy a super quick horse anyhow, so i bought standdard edition too.

PS> because Imperial are a special race, they wil proberbly be the most popular. Do you wanna look like most other players? i don't, but i stil think Dark Elves will be popular cuz they look the coolest i reckon ;)

What?! NO. Khajiit Orcs Argonians all look way better than Dunmer.

Khajiit look the best by far

    • I like the racial abilities of the Imps, the ability to make any armor you are wearing turn into Imp armor appearance, the horse, the rings are nice for me and a friend. Really though, its fluff....do you want to buy fluff? That's up to you. I bought it, because I liked it.....you will still eventually get a horse, you can eventually move to any faction, I just wanted it all up front and to fulfill my character concept.

    • I pre-ordered the Imperial Edition though I never thought of playing as an Imperial. I may or may not try it in the future. Besides that, there are some other bonuses which you'll find out both here and in the official site. As for the price, I don't know what 20 bucks mean to you. Compare the price difference and the additional bonuses, and you'll eventually find out if it's worthy or not.
