I was doing the Cast Adrift quest where it has you look for the shipwreck survivors and I've found them all. However, every time I talk to the Bosmer woman (her name is Nistel or something like that) the quest doesn't update and it still says I haven't found her yet. Even when I get her some Glowjuice, it doesn't update. I've tried leaving the island and coming back, as well as quitting the game and waiting until the next day and nothing's happened. Has this happened to anyone else? Any idea on how to fix it? I need this quest done in order to continue an important questline.
Hey guys, this bug is well known and a temporary solution to the problem has been formed while Zenimax patches it.
As with most quests, the best thing to do it abandon the quest and log off for at least 15 mins (Or leave that map zone). This allows the game to clear the cache of the npc's and then reload them when you return to the area. I've had a few friends have this bug and 80% of the time, it's been fixed by doing exactly this.
