  • The reason why i asked this is because i am currently doing a legendary melee character and i find that i use Mark of Death in almost every fight and I know armor goes negative with it so if i get the perk will i be dealing less damage?¬†

    • I think what they mean is that a mace has the one-handed perk that lets it ignore some percent of armor does it also ignore it if its a negative number.

As for the answer i have no idea.

    • To be clear, the guy is asking, if you have a neg armor will the armor ignore¬†% perk lower the neg value even more. Or will it only work if there is armor to ignore. Most games do have it where armor ignore will add more damage. By taking more armor increasing the neg value. Thus turning it into a damage buff vs just a armor ignore. I have no proof myself to link or post. But ive see it only work if the target is something armored to start with. If you look around wiki more. You will find alot of enemies have no armor value or real base damage reduction to start with. Out of all the weapons the axe perk is best. Because it can stack. The mace one is good vs enemies who wear armor. and the sword one is kinda w/e. The crit is not all that great.

So no, It will not add more damage for having the perk. Because it will not lower the armor anymore pass the base. So its good to have in there. Buts its not needed unless the fight calls for it. Jsut like how the axe perk will not work on undead.(cause they cant bleed)

    • I the same guy. Just to add in another note. If you are going melee base. You can just do echanting and smithing as side skills. To make your own magic wepaons. Which are broken do to the fact not very many enemies have a def vs magic damage. And some take more base on the type. So again the mace perk may not be worth the points. That you can spend in the skills to make better weapons.
