  • i was doing some decorating in the winstad house. i had some amulets in my bags, so i dropped them and started putting them in the glass cases. sonir came to talk to me. i couldn't hear what she was saying because the volume was too low, but it gave me the options to tell her she could have what she was asking for or "no, it's mine." i went ahead and told her to take whatever it was. she walked to the case, took the amulet of julianos i had put there and the game informed me i had helped out the people of falkreath. i don't see any mention of this on her page, but i have a real hard time navigating the comments here.

    • Ho-ho, that is not even a "quest", hey! This can happen with almost every NPC in Skyrim, when you drop things. I first encountered this at Sleeping Gian Inn, when my character was living with Camilla in Riverwood. I dropped some Elven armor on the floor, and Embry came up to me, asking if he can take it. When I said "Yes." (or something) he screamed "Sweeet, ho-ho" and equipped it. Yup, Embry in Elven armor is now forever in my memories. And, what about gaining a "helped someone in X hold", and hold is being wrong... I found out that such a thing happened with every bard from Hearthfire (the "wrong" Hold will also be named if you attack your bard in "bounty message"). E.g. your female bard's (from Morthal homestead) real hold is The Rift)))
