  • i know this has been done before, but what are your theories about the setting of the elder scrolls 6? Elsweyr? Valenwood? hammerfell? Where do you want to see TES 6?

    • Me personally, I'd love both Valenwood AND Elsweyr to be in ES6 for the following reasons.

      1. Both providnces have been high on suggestions, but both are relitively small realms so exploration options would be limited. But if they were paired up, the map would be MUCH larger.

      2. There would be much more variety on geography. Both Skyrim and Cyrodil were fun, but they suffered from repetative geography. With Valenwood, the geography would include deserts, forests, jungles, plains.

      3. If the Thalmor are to be the main villains or to have a larger role than in Skyrim, what better place to focus on them than their lown lands?

      4. In relation to the above reasons, it will give plenty of oppurtunities to meet Altmer, Bosmer and Khajiit who dislike the Thalmor. I personally think the Thalmor's fall should not come from humans, but from rebel Altmer, Bosmer and Khajiit.

      5. Being in Khajiit and Bosmer society would be a Morrowind like experience with alien like cities, culture, while humans would have a smaller presence.

      6. The there would be three major dungeon types.

Ayleid ruins(Ayleids also made settlments in Valenwood and some Bosmer are even descendents of the Ayleids). Not all Oblivion fans liked the Nord Tombs and some even found them "too generic compared to the scary as hell Ayleid ruins". I'm sorta on their side. Nord Tombs were great, but Ayleid ruins are some of the finest dungeons I've ever seen in gaming. But apart from Ayleid ruins, the other two dungeon types would be entirely new.

Colovian ruins are also common in Northern Valenwood, and would give gamers a brighter glimphse into this relitevely unknown human nation.

Khajiit Ruins. In ancient Elsweyr, there were 16 independent Kingdoms that made up Elsweyr, but only two of them survive to this day. This means that hidden in the deserts and jungles are ruins never explored before. If could design Khajiit ruins, I'd make them very Ancient Egyptian like.

    • I would go for after the next Kalpa so we could see

a new Dawn era with EPIC fights between Aedra and Daedra

a personification of Sithis and Auriel

a old things renovated; ruins before they become ruins

the chance to see new Daedric realms

seeing those new realms unravel and rebind

      Sheogoraths antics

a quest to reduce Molag Bal to the level of a Scamp

maybe find a phantom of Martin Septim in Aetherius

seeing the sun explode during a major part of the game

      learning ridiculous spells

using Red Mountain to forge something for a guildmaster

      hype

    • That sounds like something the Thalmor would like.

    • all in good taste, freind. I find the idea of such chaos entertaining, but the Thalmor seem specifically interested in the authority.

    • Actually the Thalmor's true plan is to end Mundus's existence so that the Mer races can achieve godhood.

    • I have heard about that, but I think they don't want the races themselves to gain godhood, I think they want to do in the Namekian in the Dragon Ball Multiverse comic (that vanished) did and become a singular and far superior version of the race

They want to become the ancient spirits, IMMORTAL spirits, y'know, this looks like a godhood-y thing

    • The Thalmor's plan to do this is by outlawing Talos worship. They believe that Talos has filled in Lorkhan's place and as long as he exists, the Mer were remain mortal. According to the Thalmor, if no one worships Talos, he will cease to exist and take Mundus with him. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen.
