  • I would MOST defenitely kill Braith, Lars Battle-Born or Olfrid Battle-Born

    Braith is self-explanatory

Lars is a whiny milk drinker

Olfrid is so selfish and self accosiated.

    What do you all think?

    • well, braith has a bad home life. her dad leaves for weeks or so, her mom is too busy reading probably cheesy romance novels, and both ignore her.

also, tons of people are gonna say neloth, but i think thats unjust compared to others

next, i think you meant "selfish" instead of "selfless" selfless neans someone who cares about other people more than themselves. selfishness is the exact opposite.

and finally: maven black-briar. nuff said.

    • Who I will kill if I can pick an Essential character to be killed ofd? It Depends on the goals of my character but insignificant characters such as Braith, Lars or Olfrid are definitely nowhere in the kill list.

Probably Maven black-briar not because she is a scum is because when I play the Dragonborn, no matter what kind of backstory I cook up, he/she will turn out to be a greatly upgraded/downgraded depending on your perspective of Maven Black-Briar.

Most of the time, my Dragonborn is a despicable scheming backstabber who works towards goals that will further my influence in the politics while trying to stay in the shadows. Think along the lines of the true evil King or Emperor who runs Tamriel from the shadows away from public eyes.

People are most likely going to know me as the Heroic selfless Dragonborn who saved the world from Alduin and liberate Skyrim from the Empire/Helped Imperial Legion defeat the Stormcloak rebels.

When in reality, all the good, neutral and especially bad calls made by the Empire's ruling factions are probably my doing. Except common folks will not know. They will blame Titus Mede II or Ulfric Stormcloak, the Jarls or Counts. But rarely a few will know I have a hand in the shit they face.

My Dragonborn is a scum who only cared about enjoying a life of luxury and praises from the commoners as their heroic savior while people like the Jarls and Emperor will be my scapegoat to be blamed for all the bad calls made under my influence.

For my Dragonborn to become someone like that, I will have absolutely zero tolerance in the existence of Maven and the Black-Briars in general. Families like Black-Briars and Silver-Bloods are unlawfully occupying MY Money and MY illegal businesses! For their crimes, they must die a horrid death for defiling their One True Emperor of Tamriel for all Eternity.

I never take part in the war because-

      a) if i go with the stormcloaks then you will have Vignar Gray-Mane take over Balgruuf. I like Balgruuf better because he trusts you the minute you step into Dragonsreach.

When you storm Dragonsreach Balgruuf will say that he thought better of you.

      b) if i side with the imperials then Maven Black-Briar will take over. I DESPISE Maven (as everyone does) and i feel kinda sympathetic towards Laila Law-Giver as she quotes "I have failed my people" when she is taken away from the throne. When she speaks to Maven after she becomes Jarl she will say  "We Nords were proud warriors once. And we still could be. Evidenced by the men and women who fought and died bravely today. You could see that if you had any faith left in that black heart of yours. But no, you're content to snatch scraps falling off the Emperor's table. Fine. Take my home. Take my city. May it burn down around you."

Maven will also say sometime after that "Jarl Black-Briar. I must admit, I do like the sound of that."

    • The whole point is, when I play as the Dragonborn or if the Dragonborn has my personality, it will be probably have one of the worst outcome playing out for Skyrim, so bad that either side winning the Civil War or having Maven Black-Briar control the underworld(Criminal) world will be paradise compared to letting me take over her position. My mentioning of both outcomes in Civil War is to reflect how I don't really care about Skyrim, I only care about my own interest, which one winning will benefit me more is probably the one I will side.

There are two main points you just need to understand that's all.

First I will choose to kill Maven if I can do so as an answer to the Thread's question.

Seond, I don't kill Maven because she is annoying or for any righteous reasons. I did it because I cannot accept the fact that it is Maven who is wielding the power over Skyrim's economy and illegal trade. I can only accept it when I am the one who is wielding that power hence Maven must die. Which I explain that in a way, having me wielding the power Maven possess will be worse as I wouldn't even mind siding with the Thalmor and further causing widespread poverty in Skyrim.

Like so poor, after I take over Maven in 10 years' time the Province having the so-called Big strong muscular Nords will no longer exist. It will be so poor that all you'll find are emaciated beggars, who are starving so badly that if you give them shit to eat they will eat and tree barks will be luxury for them. I have no qualms letting Skyrim suffer like this.
