Walkthrough[]

Upon completing "In the Name of the King" and leaving the cornerclub, Eveli Sharp-Arrow will approach you, telling you that High Priestess Solgra has a secret mission for you.

You can find Solgra in the Temple of Ire. She will tell you that a group of fanatical Trinimac worshippers have kidnapped one of the chiefs and are holding him at Fharun Stronghold. You are to meet up with Eveli there to help free the chief. Fharun Stronghold is in the far north of Wrothgar, northeast of the Frozen Fleet. Ideally, you should try to remain undetected there as long as possible, so that the enemies don't suspect any danger. At the stronghold, you will find a Wood Elf Arrow; this is probably a hint from Eveli. Up the path to the north, you will find another arrow; once you approach it, Eveli will appear.

Eveli has overheard that there is a large prison here in the stronghold, but she has not yet found it. She did notice a Vosh Rakh storm off towards the overlook, upset with the cult. That can be a good source of information, or you can eavesdrop on other Vosh Rakh members or search their buildings. The Vosh Rakh at the overlook is a man named Quan; you can either hear him out or push him off the platform. If you hear him out, he will tell you that the prison is below the ground, and that you can get there through the well. If you instead choose to gather information by eavesdropping or reading notes, [?].

Return to Eveli with this information; she can be found in the east of the stronghold, behind the feast house. She will suggest finding a rope to climb down into the well, and will direct you to the forge. Sure enough, you will find rope there; take it back to Eveli and she will lead you to the well. She will secure the rope so you can climb in. Once inside, head north through the passageway and continue north through the caves, fighting escaped murderers along the way. Once you reach the actual prison, take the path east, then north again. To your right, you will find the cell where they are holding none other than Chief Bazrag.

Bazrag will tell you he was captured and imprisoned here the moment he returned from Orsinium, and that he had nothing to do with the attack on the Temple. He is too weakened to climb up the well, so you will have to fight your way through the main entrance. Proceed through the dungeon to the Chamber of Scorn, where the most dangerous prisoners are kept. To progress through to the next room, Bazrag needs to turn the levers here in the correct order, but doing so will cause the prisoners to be released and parts of the room to fill with poison gas. You will first be facing a pair of ogres, then a pair of trolls, then a prisoner named Ordun Clan-Slayer and finally another prisoner named Viras the Red. Make sure you stay out of the gas while fighting these foes.

Once all these enemies are dead, proceed on to the next room, the spike room. Here, you will notice spikes coming out of the floor, but they won't all come out every time. Bazrag will tell you there is a pattern to the spikes, and that you must turn all the valves in the room to shut them off. However, the valves must all be turned within a certain time limit, otherwise they will reset. You can analyze the spike patterns from the platform, but if you have a high enough HP you can also choose to just take the spike damage and rush through to the valves. This is the last puzzle room; hereafter, you can just fight your way out.

Once you are out of the dungeons, speak with Bazrag. He will threaten to kill you, and will demand to know why Solgra would send you. He would rather die than get taken to Kurog. He will tell you that if you want the truth, you should speak to someone named Ulsha; as you are talking, Eveli will appear behind him and force him to lower his weapon. Talk to Eveli; she will suggest taking Bazrag to Solgra since he refuses to be taken to Kurog.

As Eveli is doing this, you should go speak to Ulsha south of Fharun stronghold, northwest of Zthenganaz. She will tell you that it was her who asked Solgra for aid, and will confirm that Bazrag was taken captive the moment he got back here and cannot possibly have been behind the attack on the temple. This will finish the quest.
