Located north down the path from Ivarstead towards the river, is a rocky outcrop inhabited by a troll. The cave contains the bodies of two Stormcloak soldiers. One of the bodies carries a note as well as a skill book. The carnage includes an elk and another skeleton that can be looted, as well as one orichalcum ore vein and a nirnroot plant.
