Trollsbane is a unique Steel Warhammer, found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Acquisition
This unique weapon can be found inside an unmarked troll den directly west of Cradle Stone Tower, and directly east of Valthume. Two Trolls are outside the cave fighting. It can be found on the corpse of Frofnir Trollsbane.
Enchantment
Its unique Fire Damage enchantment only affects Trolls and Frost Trolls. Attempting to attack an NPC that is not a Troll will result in the effects of the enchantment being resisted, although physical damage will still be dealt as normal. Trollsbane cannot be disenchanted to learn its effects.
Smithing
Trollsbane benefits from the Steel Smithing perk.
Bugs
- It is possible for Frofnir Trollsbane to not appear at all inside the cave, or fall through the map making Trollsbane unobtainable.
