Ulfsild was a Nord mage and the wife of Arch-Mage Shalidor in The Elder Scrolls Online and Gold Road.
Background[]
Although Ulfsild was married to Shalidor, she did not share his passion for research or magical inventions. It is implied she did not express joy for his creation, Eyevea, causing Shalidor to curse her during a bout of anger.
After Shalidor came to regret giving Eyevea to Sheogorath, he spent countless hours writing notes in an effort to reclaim it, going so far as to neglect returning home to his wife. Ulfsild could not get his attention during this period and became distraught.
Ulfsild came to the conclusion her husband was obsessed and believed he loved his spells and scrolls more than her. This belief drove Ulfsild to leave Shalidor for good.

Ulfsild can be seen with Shalidor in the vision where she leaves him. Shalidor would later claim he would have given up the island for her if she had given him the chance to decide.
